He also doesnt meet expectations of society around because he isnt going to school he isn't intersted in having a good relationship with his parents.
Lord of the Flies- In the book the children are on a deserted on an island with no adults to help them. They revolve in Maslow's thoery in an interesting way. Since they are kids and young they don't know how to meet the needs the body needs acording to Maslow's theory. They relied on their parents or adults to meet those needs for them. They go against the usual in their society by the children are becoming savages instead of being normal British children.
Anaimal Farm- This book takes place on a farm where the animals rise and overthrow there evil farmer. Soon the pigs take charge and rule the farm and the pigs become more dictative than the farmer. In the book the anilmals go against the usual in society and run the farm with out a human. But as the story unfolds the pigs get more and more involved in human interaction again.
Fahrenheit 451- Guy is in a world where books are ilegal and his boss tells him to burn them. But as the book progresses he defies his boss and actually keeps some to him self. In the nieeds of hierarchey he is missing love that his wife doesnt show to him and self actualization, at first. As the book keeps developing he slowly starts to realize who he really is and becomes a more positive character in the book.
